In this activity, students will analyze primary and secondary source material in order to understand perceptions of police and law enforcement from an historical and contemporary perspective. Students will be asked to consider the factors that may contribute to the development of particular views, in this case, views about the role and effect of law enforcement in communities - including their own. Student will search the archive, create a video essay and later, share their work with peers.
