In this Information Quest, students will develop an understanding of the concept of hate and watch testimonies that describe how individuals experienced expressions of hate from several perspectives. They will explore the personal impact of hate and construct a word cloud focusing on ways that we can understand and counter hate, including the role that memorial days can play in that process.
This activity features testimonies from the Holocaust, Armenian Genocide, and Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda collections of the Visual History Archive.
