Description:
This activity provides students with an opportunity to analyze how individual lives were affected by Nazi ideology and policies. It acquaints students with the definition of a Holocaust survivor that includes pre-WWII refugees, and helps them examine the complexity of decisions faced by refugees as well as the challenges of starting a new life elsewhere. It helps students understand how refugees participate in creating the fabric of society in their new country.
