Description:
After watching the film Big Sonia, you will have the opportunity to reflect on the power that personal testimonies have. After seeing the impact Sonia's testimony had on middle and high school students, you will have the opportunity to watch testimony from five Holocaust survivors. Finally, you will have an opportunity to share how you were able to empathize with survivors of the Holocaust through a personal letter. This activity features testimony from Claire Boren, Herman Cohn, Lea Fanarof, Vladka Meed, and Marion Blumenthal Lazan.
